A fee of R950 inc vat will be incurred for any assessment done on any equipment ( in or out of warranty) and will be waivered if the quotation for repairs is accepted, irrespective of device type. This fee is also applicable for any insurance-related claims and damage reports on equipment.

If payment is not made for any product or equipment booked in for repairs and it is not collected within three (3) months, and CompuFreak has made all reasonable attempts to contact the customer without success, the product or equipment will become the property of CompuFreak. CompuFreak reserves the right to sell the item to recover costs.

FAQs

How long will the repair take
Depending on the diagnosis of the Mac, some repairs can take up to 5-6 working days, some can be same day or within a day or two depending on the complexity of the repairs undertaken.
Upgrade or buy a New Mac
In short most  “vintage” Macs can be upgraded to osX High Sierra, Some Mojave, and some Catalina, depending on the year and model. As far as hardware upgrades go most can be upgraded to at least a solid-state drive (SSD) and RAM upgrades are also available on most iMacs, MacBooks (Pre – 2017) and MacPros
Can yon you fix iPad, Phone Screens and batteries
Yes we do LCD replacements on almost all iPhones, iPads, iPODs, etc
